MILAGU KUZHAMBU (மிளகு குழம்பு)

                         MILAGU KUZHAMBU
                      (PEPPER KUZHAMBU)



          Tamarind      - 1 lime size
          Salt               - 2 tsp
          Curry leaves 
          Mustard        - 1 tsp.

For Masala

    Pepper                - 1 1/2 tsp
    Red chillies        - 4
   thur dhal             - 1 1/2 tsp
 Blackgram dhal    -  11/2 tsp
Asafoetida              - a bit


Fry the above ingredients in a little oil and grind into a smooth paste and add to the extracted tamarind juice 1/2 litre . Add salt and allow to simmer for 15-20 minutes till it gets a little thickened. Finally, add a tsp. of rice flour dissolved in a little water. after 5 minutes , remove from fire . season with mustard seeds.
